Our World - Entry Point

Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Year 2 Year: 2015 - 2016

To begin our new topic Our World year 2  went on a walk around our local environment to look closely at what is part of our local environment. We then moved on to looking at the planet we live in which is called planet Earth. We made artwork inspired by photographs of Earth from space.  Finally we had a philosophy session and talked about what things make the perfect world Such as peace, happiness, love etc. Year 2 then wrote a potion to create the perfect world!
