Farm to Fork

Class: Year 2 Year: 2015 - 2016

Year 2 visited their local Tesco store to take a closer look at the journey of foods. We visited the bakery, fish and cheese counters. All children loved tasting an array of exotic fruits and finding out where different food types are stored after their arrival to the store - we can confirm that the freezer was extremely chilly! We also had the opportunity to operate the store tills and serve the public. It was such an exciting and interesting morning!
