Year 2 2024 - 2025
Welcome to Year 2
with
Mrs Dobson and Miss Beardsall
Class Dojo is a great way for me to keep in touch with you all. It's also great to share what you've been up to at home!
The Autumn term's context for learning is 'Wildlife Connections: Conservation in Action!' Over the term, we will link our learning through the themes of conservation, responsibility and compassion.
English
We will be reading the story of 'The Last Wolf' by Mini Grey as part of story box and to inspire our English writing.
Once upon a time, Little Red set off into the woods to catch a wolf . . .
But the woods aren't all they seem - and are there even any wolves left? Mini Grey re-imagines the classic Little Red Riding Hood fable in an entirely new way. Can Little Red help her new friends in need and recover the wild days of the past?
