Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Year 5 Year: 2014 - 2015

Today the whole school had a fantastic day visiting seven countries around the world without even leaving the Highfield building! 

In Year 5 the country was Vietnam and we found out about their culture including: 

Locating Vietnam on the Mao and globe

Counting in Vietnamese

Greetings in Vietnamese language

Watching a video of life in a Vietnam market

Making Vietnam flags

Trying on Vietnamese clothing

It was a busy day but the children have learnt so much!
