Mrs Armitage on Wheels

Class: Year 2 Year: 2016 - 2017

We have had lots of fun exploring the story of Mrs Armitage on wheels.  We have been hot seating characters, taking part in freeze frames, roll on the wall, role play and we retold the story using our story maps.  We were most surprised because we even received a letter back from Mrs Armitage after we had written to her.  We had so many questions and we enjoyed having those questions answered.

We have also been exploring the poem 'At the End of School Assembly' and wrote some of our own lines using the characters from Mrs Armitage on Wheels. We are currently in the process of writing our own versions of the story.
