Entry Point: Superhumans

This afternoon we had our entry point for our new IPC topic, Superhumans. We are really excited at the prospect of exploring the human body and meeting professionals who help us care for our own bodies.  As part of our entry point we completed a knowledge harvest to see what we already knew and began to pose some questions that would help lead our learning. Following this, we set to work to transform our classroom learning loft into our very own 'Superhuman Surgery'. We then thought about how scientists and doctors can see inside our bodies and what they are made of. We found out lots and already know so much so we made our own x-ray art and moving skeleton models to show our understanding.
