Manchester Runway Visitor Centre

Year one have had the most enjoyable time at the Manchester Runway Visitor Centre!

We started our day by having a picnic and a runaround on the adventure playground. The best part about this was that the runway was right next to us so we could see them landing and taking off really close!

After lunch we went on half a plane. We got to go in the flight deck and pretend to be the pilots. We also learnt about all the different jobs that need doing in an airport. I'ts a really busy place!

We had a really wonderful and exhausting time. The coach was very quiet on the ride home :)

On our return we wrote our own recounts of our favourite parts of the day.
