Optician Visit

Today as part of our new topic Super Humans we had a visit from Rachel Freedman who works as an optician at Jane Smellie Opticians. Rachel demonstrated why our eyes are so important challenging Rhianne and Joshua to eat a pot of jelly blindfolded! This was incredibly difficult for them but very funny to observe!

We now also know what happens when you visit the opticians as Sami and Natalia got to dress up as Optometrists (a posh name for an optician) and tested Monty's eyes using all of Rachel's equipment.

Thank you Rachel for sharing your amazing job with us, I think you have inspired some year 2 to become Opticians too!
